Jamie Oliver Is The Favorite Christmas Chef
For people in the UK and elsewhere, Jamie Oliver is the favorite chef to cook their Christmas dinner this year. While old pals, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, may already have declared their plans to hire Oliver to cook for their brood of six this year on December 25th, the common people want a piece of his action too.
According to a survey conducted by VoucherCodes.co.uk, Oliver surpassed his contemporaries like Nigella Lawson and Deila Smith, to emerge the most-preferred chef on celebrity-circuit. The survey attributes his success to his quick meals and down-to-earth style. Lawson and Smith came second, and third, respectively. Foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsay came in fourth while the maverick chef Heston Blumenthal brought up the tether-end of the top five.
The survey reveals that a third of people interviewed for this purpose said that they would be using Oliver's Christmas recipes to cook their Christmas meal this year. Jamie's recipes like mix of roasted vegetables, potatoes cooked in goose fat, and a turkey flavored with butter and fresh herbs, are definitely going to feature on many a Christmas tables this year.
