Mila Kunis Gains Weight For Her Role In Blood Ties

You are here

Mila KunisIn the far away kingdom of Hollywood, Mila Kunis, a young actress gains weight. Soon it becomes the talk of the nation. It is not a fairytale, but, it is true. Any actress who gains or loses a pound will be scrutinized and criticized by the media mercilessly.

We saw Mila Kunis, 28, dropping to a paltry 95 pounds for her role in the Oscar winning movie Black Swan. In an interview with the 'Harper’s Bazaar' in March 2012, the girl from Ukraine said, "[My body] has never been the same.  My shape is different. When I got down to 95 pounds, I was muscles, like a little brick house, but skin and bones. When I gained it back, it went to completely different areas." She would like some areas to plump up a bit. "No, I'd be happy if my a-- got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach."

I have to agree with her. If you look at the photos taken at the sets of the movie Blood Ties with Clive Owen, you’ll see what she means. All that weight seems to have gone to her mid-section.Mila Kunis in the sets of Blood Ties

The 'Friends With Benefits' actress is pretty sure of her body, but, in 10 years, she said her tune could change. "I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason, but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I'm like, 'I'm going to embrace it,' but ... I'm probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt," she told 'Harper’s Bazaar'.

"People have interpretations of what you're supposed to be like. If you're unattractive and overweight, you must have a great personality. If you're attractive, then you must not be the nicest person. People are always taken aback that I'm easygoing but not necessarily stupid," Kunis said.

Clearly, she is not going to let any criticism about her weight affect her in any way. More power to you, Mila!
