Kelly Clarkson Hits A High In Her Life, Thanks To BF!
The very first American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, has been a yo-yo dieter ever since she first went on a diet regime. From being slender to heavyweight and again slender, Clarkson has lived out many lives in public eye as far as her weight is concerned. In fact, she has sometimes gone 20 lbs above her ideal body weight, much to the chagrin of her fans.
She has looked chubby, thin, toned, and seriously overweight on different occasions during her career ever since she first won the singing competition in 2002, all thanks to her inconsistent dietary habits. But now, things are looking up for her because of her boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock, who is also her talent manager.
Her BF has been instrumental in restricting her diet as well as her workout routine, which has helped the chubby singer to shake off the extra pounds. Clarkson explains his influence, “I would love to say that it (weightloss) had something to do with my work, but it doesn’t. I have a boyfriend, and if I’m being completely honest, no one likes to be not toned when you are dating someone.” The pop star is “eating better and working out.”
However, Kelly is not stressed about her fluctuating weight as she said, “My happy weight changes. Sometimes I eat more; sometimes I play more. I’ll be different sizes all the time. I love healthy stuff and junk an equal amount. Whatever I’m craving, I go for it.” Perhaps, she would lose some of that nonchalance regarding her body if she realized that frequently fluctuating weight can weaken your body’s immune system.
Kelly has had the most satisfactory music career from among all the American Idols. She was recently named the “most successful American Idol of all time.” Now if only she would bring the same determination to her dietary regime too, then she may not have to be dependent on her BF for keeping her fit.
