  • Garlic: It has been used to clear infections for thousands of years. It has a compound called allicin that acts as a broad spectrum antibiotic and effectively kills the staph bacteria. Crushed garlic has a high concentration of allicin and should be applied on skin, where the bacteria has grown.


  • Tea Tree Essential Oil: It is one of the most powerful killers of this deadly bacteria, is very gentle even on the most sensitive skin. It is better to dilute this oil in a carrier oil before application.


  • Oregano : A promising study showed the uses of oregano oil to inhibit the growth of  bacteria and prevent its spread to other areas. It is potent for the bacteria but absolutely safe for human use.


  • Turmeric:  A commonly used Indian spice is very helpful to treat skin disorders caused by microbes. A paste is usually applied which makes the environment for bacterial growth very unfavorable.


  • Olive Leaf : The health benefits of olive leaf extract also extend to its anti bacterial nature. They are very effective for controlling the staph bacterial growth. Liquid extracts are available in the market.


  • Clove oil : It was found to be very potent to inhibit the growth of bacteria in a study. A few raw cloves can be eaten everyday to build resistance and kill germs.
