Macademia nuts are native to the Australian rain forests and the Macademia oil benefits range from curbing bad cholesterol to keeping the heart safe and sound. Composition of Macademia nuts:


 


Macademia nut is primarily composed of 80 to 85 per cent of monounsaturated fatty acids and is rich in oleic acid. Some of the other constituents of this nut are linoleic acid, omega-3 essential fatty acids, omega-6-fatty acid and palmitoleic acid. The amount of these acids is much higher than what is found in olive oils and is therefore considered to be much superior to other oils. Besides, this oil is also rich in calcium, vitamin B complex and minerals like phosphorous and iron.

This nut oil has a higher amount of mono-unsaturated fatty acids, which are known to keep your heart safe and sound by lowering the amount of cholesterol and low density lipoproteins (LDL), and keeping the heart sound by having the required amounts of high density lipoproteins or good cholesterol.

The Macademia nut oil can be used on your skin and is one of the oils, which are most suitable to the skin. Therefore, this oil can be used for massage therapy. Regular usage of this oil would keep the skin looking young and lustrous. Besides other ingredients like vitamin E and minerals in this oil keep the skin clear of pimples, blemishes, whiteheads, and blackheads. Just like the olive oil, the Macademia oil is a good conditioner for hair and should be used in regular hair care  regime.
