Sunflower- Allergic reactions

Sunflower Allergy symptoms can be triggered by ingesting the seeds present in a number of garnishes or bakery products. Sunflower oil can also be harmful and trigger allergic reactions in  certain highly sensitive individuals.  The honey extract along with the hairy part  can also harbor deadly allergens.

Reasons for Sunflower Allergy

Almost 10 allergens have been identified from sunflower until now. The most recent discovery has identified the 2S methionine-rich protein of the sunflower seeds as an allergen along with Hel a 1 and Hel a 2 which are pollen proteins. Not really. You may be ignorant of your condition if you do not come in touch with the flower or consume any products prepared from it
