I am going to talk about fruits for heart as nothing can replace the benefits of fruits in protecting the heart from any ailments. Various research studies have proved that two to three servings of fruits per day would promote healthy heart and also reduce the risk of any heart disease.


 


How Are Heart And Fruits Related


Fruits rich in fiber significantly reduce the risk of heart diseases. Dietary fibers from fruits regulate the cholesterol level, insulin sensitivity and blood pressure level, thereby promoting good health of heart. Furthermore, fruits are a rich source of many important minerals and vitamins that are heart friendly. They promote the blood circulation and thus prevent any heart disease associated with blood clotting. In this way eating fruit is always beneficial for heart.

Although there are many fruits good for heart but some are super fruit for heart which should be consumed daily to ward off or cure heart diseases.


 


Pomegranate


Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants especially Punicalagins which has been proven for its powerful cardio-protective nature. In addition, the fruit is also rich in catechins, anthocyanins, isoflavones, and vitamin C all of which promotes healthy heart.


 


Blueberries


While talking about heart and fruits, one cannot ignore heart friendly blueberries. Its rich composition of resveratrol, pterostilbene and Vitamin C protects the heart from any disorder.  


 


Kiwi


Presence of vitamin C in kiwi makes the fruit very healthy for heart as vitamin C is required to keep the arteries elastic and in protecting them from the damages by free radicals. Daily consumption of kiwi reduces the risk of blood clotting and helps in the production of good cholesterol in the body.


 


Strawberries


Strawberries are known to reduce the risk of blood clots which is the source of many heart disorders. Being rich in antioxidants, it also helps in lowering the LDL cholesterol in the body.


 


Red Grapefruit


There are various undiscovered antioxidants in red grapefruit which effectively regulates the cholesterol level in the body. 


 


Red And Purple Grapes


Being rich in resveratrol, red and purple grapes is known to reduce the risk of blood clotting. It also lowers the LDL cholesterol and thus prevents damages to blood vessels of heart.


 


Figs


Figs are dual role to play in promoting the health of heart. It not only lowers the blood pressure but also regulates the amount of triglycerides in the body. Being rich in fiber, it also controls obesity which in a way is linked to heart attack.
