Red Wine! recent studies have concluded that drinking alcohol in any form decreases brain size. folks who use this heart-alcohol link as an excuse to drink alcohol be careful. you will no longer be able to cite the medical benefits as an excuse for getting drunk . the researcher who conducted this study were hoping to find that moderate amount of alcohol impacts brain positively. Alas!, they found just the opposite. Drink Alcohol Shrink your Brain!

red wine as sugested by heart specialist is bebeficial only when taken specially in winter because due to cold the blood of humen body get thicker and heart works more to pump blood in the body to maintain circulatory system of body.red wine prevents thickning of blood and paved way for smooth circulation and hence also prevent rise/fall of b.p and regulates functioning of heart.much more pegs are harmful.it is correct to say that alcohal action is directly connected to brain adversely.

A glass of red wine a day keeps the doctor away Is red wine the fountain of youth or a potent poison? Is enjoying a glass of red wine with dinner each evening beneficial to your health? Current research suggests that a glass of red wine each day may be providing you with more than just a little relaxation. What are the health benefits of drinking red wine? For over 10 years, research has indicated that moderate intake of alcohol improves cardiovascular health. In fact, in 1992 Harvard researchers included moderate alcohol consumption as one of the "eight proven ways to reduce coronary heart disease risk." However, research has suggested that specifically red wine is the most beneficial to your heart health. The cardioprotective effect has been attributed to antioxidants present in the skin and seeds of red grapes. Do some research on the subject of drinking red wine. It is all about moderation in life! Whether red meat, drinking wine, exercise-all in moderation benefits our health. Is wine good for you? In moderation, a glass or two can help your heart, prevent cancer and more Is wine good for you?In moderation and as part of an overall healthy diet, the short answer is yes! Thanks to its alcohol content and non-alcoholic phytochemicals (natural occurring plant compounds), wine has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease, certain cancers and slow the progression of neurological degenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. However, the amount of wine you drink matters tremendously. Drink more than what’s recommended, your health benefits are lost and your health risks go up. Here’s what’s considered safe and effective: Men: No more than two drinks per day. Women: No more than one drink per day. One drink is defined as a 5-ounce glass of red or white wine, 12 ounces of regular beer (1 bottle) or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof distilled spirits. The health benefits of wine When it comes to wine’s health capabilities, here’s what we know: It’s been well documented that moderate amounts of alcohol can raise your good cholesterol (HDL-cholesterol) and thin your blood. This is thought to be one of the primary cardiovascular benefits from wine (red and white), as well as hard liquor and beer. Non-alcoholic phytochemicals in wine, such as flavanoids and resveratrol, act as antioxidants and prevent molecules known as “free radicals” from causing cellular damage in the body. Although some studies which have focused on the health benefits of resveratrol use much greater dosages than you’ll find in an average glass of wine, resveratrol has been shown to prevent blood clotting and plaque formation in arteries by altering lipid profiles and plasma viscosity. Findings from a recent study suggest that resveratrol can produce potent anti-thrombotic agents that can potentially improve cardiovascular health and lower the risk for coronary heart disease. In animal studies, resveratrol reduced tumor incidence by affecting one or more stages of cancer development http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21478144/ Shanti/Mary-Anne
