A drink made by fermenting milk with Kefir grains is known as Kefir and there are many health benefits of Kefir. The drink was first made in the Caucasus region; however the word Kefir is a combination of two Persian words, Kef and shir meaning foam and silk respectively.

The grains of Kefir are very nutritious and are very rich in probiotics. The kefir drink is also called as a miracle drink because of its amazing health benefits.

Here are some health effects of Kefir on our bodies:
