Bad breath can be discouraging at times and can even make you withdraw from your social group. Sometime even brushing and flossing regularly does not help much as  the natural foods. Foods affect your breath and your smile in a long way. Every time you feast your taste buds with sugary or starchy food, the bacteria present in plaque forms a decay causing acid which further makes your breath smell bad.


But there is no need to isolate yourself just because of bad breath; you can anytime try the natural foods which will ensure a sweet smelling breath in no time.


Fruits and veggies- Snacking on the raw veggies and fruits like apples, celery and carrots your breath smells good. The fruits and vegetables increase the saliva production, thereby keeping the mouth moist and rinsed out.


Mints- Keep your pockets full of spearmints and peppermints, andjust chew when you need them. These fresh green leaves act as a quick fix for the bad breath.


Lemon-To clear away any lingering onion or garlic breath, eat a lemon slice. You can also have it as lemon juice with a glassful of water. With lemon you can do away with the bad breath and also with the smell of garlic, onions, or any other seafood from your hands.


Herbal tea-Want to refresh your breath after lunch, sip on some herbal tree. Green tea and mint tea are the best options but any other herbal tea will also ensure a sweet smelling breath with few drops of lemon juice. Herbal tea also aids digestion. So feel good and smell good.

Cardamom, coriander and fennel seeds- Served in almost all the restaurants after food, chewing these seeds after meals guarantees sweet smelling breath within seconds.


Sesame Seeds-Sesame seeds are very effective in clearing off plaque and building tooth enamel. These seeds are rich in calcium which helps preserve the bone around teeth and gums. The sesame seeds are one of the natural foods which ensure quick cleansing action of the mouth, when consumed. These seeds can be sprinkled on salads and fruits.


Vitamin C rich food-Natural foods rich in vitamin C like berries, melons, kiwis are also very helpful to remove the unwanted smell of breath. Vitamin C prevents the bacteria growth and helps against tooth decay.


Water-Last but not the least, drink lots of water to have a sweet smelling breath. Water keeps the mouth moist and rinsed.So keep your mouth hydrated and stop the growing bacteria.Rinsing your mouth with water also helps clean away stuck food bits that rot in the mouth and cause bad breath.
