Action hero, Jason Statham best known for his role in The Transporter, Death Race and The Crank has transformed himself for the new action flick “The Expendables 2” through his diet and workout  plan in just 6 weeks!  Let’s dig into his diet plan to find out the root cause of those rock hard ripples on his midriff!  Sigh!

Being in the British Olympic team Jason has always been fitness conscious but those lethal brawn is a recent addition to his frame, "I never gave a f--k about a calorie. An apple? It's good for me. I'd have five. Bananas? Eat the bunch." That’s some attitude Jason but now you know better that to gain those muscles besides eating a well planned diet you will also have to eat your own words!

Jason’s Meal Breakdown

Breakfast

  • Fresh fruits

  • Oats

  • Strawberries and pineapple

  • Granola porridge

He changes the menu depending on place he is in.  In England, I'll have granola or porridge. I do eat eggs they'll be poached. I'm not an egg white fanatic. It's just too bland." Says Jason

Lunch

“You put that in your body and you feel good” he says and we agree.

       Dinner

  • Fish

  • Chicken

  • Lean beef

  • Vegetable salad

Jason believes in early dinner and rightly so because early dinner gives enough time for the body to digest all that food. Like Jason says “Make 7 o'clock the latest  you eat."

In Between Meals

  • Nuts

  • Peanut butter

He prefers snacks which are high in proteins. In addition to this entire diet plan, drinking 3 liters of water is of high priority in his diet plan.

Jason’s Take on Fitness

He believes in changing his fitness routine from time to time “Because variety is what keeps me interested.” He says. Sure! We all know that variety breaks the monotony and keeps you going.

What keeps him going? Let’s hear it straight from the stallion’s mouth "I'm always trying to develop explosive power, core strength, coordination, and reflexes." Bravo!

We know by now Jason must have inspired you manifold so what you waiting for! Plan your diet; stock up all the protein rich food and follow his diet- but a word of caution here, when it comes to his work outs words which would best describe it are:- ‘No Mercy’.
