Kelly Monaco is a vegetarian so out goes all the chicken breasts, lean meat and the red meat. All this is replaced by fruits and vegetables. Sticks of carrots   and celery with lots of raw vegetables must dominate her diet.“Every night it’s a cobb salad with no meat, no cheese  and no egg yolks,” she says. As for snacks, Kelly says, “I have bite-size Snickers every day. You still have to treat yourself!” said Kelly.

Dates are also a rich source of iron. Fruits give you potassium and magnesium. Flax seeds are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids.
