Transforming the movie world with a terrific performance in Transformers, Megan Fox has made her mark as a sexy siren in the hearts of macho men.
As a child, Megan thinks she was the ugly duckling who turned into a swan. In March 2012’s Miami magazine, Megan admits-"I was never the pretty girl". Her teen years were in trauma with her insane antics of dyeing her hair orange and being bullied and ostracized.
During the making of transformers, Megan had eggs, almonds and whole foods daily without taking in grains. Megan did not pay much attention to her diet then admitting- "I don’t have a special diet, I just sort of exist and survive. I’m 23. I’m prepared for when I hit 28 and I’ve got to change my whole thing. But, for now, if I can get away with it, I’m going to do it." But as her career graph escalated, Megan was forced to fine tune her body’s fitness and health in order to cope up with the frenzied work schedule.
In fact, Megan was under pressure to put on weight for the big role. In 2008, after the first “Transformers”, Megan lost weight and said--““I just stopped eating. I don’t eat very healthy anyway — I have a serious sugar tooth, so now [when I want to put on weight], I eat red-velvet cake before I go to bed every night, and if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.”
In 2011, Megan was on a frugal, strictly vegetarian diet which made her lose a lot of weight. Megan described her diet in these days as-“I eat five times a day and don’t diet, but I do eat healthily- mostly raw and vegan food, with no dairy. It’s not always possible with travel and filming, but I try. I also take supplements like silica and fish oil religiously”. She had been spotted piling up greens, veggies and fruits at the Whole Foods Supermarket with her hubby Brian Austin Green. In her own words- “For a year and a half, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee.” Since she shed too many kilos, she was forced to stall the vegan diet.
She is currently under the aegis of Celebrity Nutritionist Harley Pasternak and is now following his 5 Factor diet. She reveals-“I had lost too much weight. So now I eat a bit of everything. Megan’s favorite food is mashed potatoes with or without gravy. She downs this with Arizona tea and Pez.
Megan has been known to starve and binge alternately. Many people would love to see Megan soften her facial contours with a little more fat or weight. Yet the reason why Megan looks skinny and anorexic still is her fast metabolism and her genes. Now that she is pregnant, Megan Fox had better beware and control her crazy eating habits in order to take good care of herself and Fox junior.
