Jennifer Aniston-No Angst Over Her Diet
Right from Aniston's “Friends” days, I have been tracking her progress and she has a well-toned, sculpted body, thanks to her strict diet.Jennifer Aniston is now officially a STAR- Yes1 she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February22, 2012. Good luck to this golden girl. Yes, I call her that because she has golden hair and glowing skin and looks every bit a Greek goddess. Most women voted for her “chiseled abs” as the most desirable body part they would love to borrow!
Jennifer is now 43, would you believe it and still retains the youthful charm of her Friends days. But the cat is now out of the bag for Jennifer has revealed to Parade magazine that she ate only one thing consistently for 10 years. It seems that while doing the Friends show, Jennifer was only on “modified Cobb with turkey and chickpeas” and this went on for 10 years! Recommending it for the Loukoumi’s Celebrity Cookbook, Aniston has suggested this quinoa cum avocado salad saying- “This is a really simple salad, but so delicious, and all these beautiful, healthy ingredients make it one of my favorites.”
Jenifer Aniston’s Food, and Diet
In the early days of her career, during the Friends saga, Aniston has some rounds and curves but now she has not an extra ounce of fat on her svelte body. She is frank enough to admit that-“Look, I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to. I don’t starve myself in an extremist way. You’re not taking away my coffee or my dairy or my glass of wine because I’d be devastated. My advice: just stop eating waste every day.”Going on a detox diet, she went on a toxin-busting spree, riding her body of wastes and fat. By downing a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice in the morning, Aniston guarantees her body a healthy dose of antioxidants and vitamin C daily.
Now Jennifer has taken on the new Zone diet following a monitored food plan of 40% carbohydrates, 30% proteins and 30% fats. The carbs and fats are the good forms that help release energy for the exercises and do not lead to fat deposition in Aniston’s body. Jennifer does indulge on her favorite Mexican foods once in a while but for most of the time, she adheres to her diet routine. Hinting on the healthy foods she consumes, Aniston says-“Most of the time I eat things like salmon or other fish, quinoa, lentils, and green vegetables. I also take liquid fish oil and resveratrol, which is supposed to be good for your heart.”
Jennifer has had several episodes of diverse dieting patterns. Before her ace chef Jewels came into her life, Aniston practically lived on pre-packaged Zone meals and overcooked take-outs with an occasional chunk of cheese. Formerly on detox, now she is on Zone diet and is raved for it. She has also quit smoking, improving her healthy lifestyle.
A classic Jennifer Aniston diet package includes a breakfast of smoothies or oatmeal porridge with 1 piece of bread and chicken breast; lunch with lean fish, cooked beans, cucumbers and peppers and dinner with seaweed soup, brown rice and lettuce stew.
So all Jennifer recommends is to eat whatever you want but eat healthy and in moderate portions. After all, it is only one life that we all have to live .so why not live like Jennifer Aniston-eating what we want but in the right proportions?
