Alison Sweeney Diet
Let's look at Alison Sweeney diet as she is the legendary Sami Gene Brady from NBC's long running daytime drama series Days of Our Lives. She is not the classically thin Hollywood actress but she is definitely a fit one. She, however, says that she has always battled with weight issues all her life. This 34 year old actress and mother of two has now learnt to keep the extra weight at bay. So what are her secrets?
The Alison Sweeney Diet:
Alison Sweeney admitted that pressure of losing weight caught up to her in 1999. She dropped 30 pounds by changing her approach to food. "As soon as I made it about being healthy and shifted my focus away from the scale, the weight started to come off," Alison Sweeney said. But when she joined The Biggest Loser show as its host, she said that her life took giant step forward in terms of her health. Jillian Michaels who is the physical trainer of The Biggest Loser show, helped her understand diet and fitness even better. "I asked [Jillian] for advice, and she rocked my world. I didn't know about healthy carbs such as brown rice and lentils. Now I eat small meals throughout the day: oatmeal with cinnamon to start, fruit and yogurt as a snack...I avoid carbs at dinner and usually have a salad. I love lettuce," she said.
Recently, Alison Sweeney also released her first fitness book, The Mommy Diet. The book talks about healthy diet options for a pregnant woman along with oodles of encouragement. What she wrote in the book is also something that she follows herself. She asks the readers to workout at least 3 times a week and to frequently vary the workout intensities. Alison Sweeney also asks the reader to keep a food journal to keep a track of all the food consumed and also to count the calories.. She also says that it is ok to indulge once in a while but advises the reader not to overindulge at any time.
In her newly launched website, she talks about how much she enjoys kickboxing in her backyard on a daily basis.
