Renée Zellweger Diet

Renee Zellweger, 42, has always been one of my favorite actresses who has such remarkable acting skills. But what has always concerned me was the Renée Zellweger diet, because it has always kept fluctuating. From pleasantly plump Bridget Jones to the skinny Roxie Hart of Chicago, we have seen her is all sizes. I am told that she was on high fat diet for Bridget Jones Diary and she practically starved herself afterwards. Now, that's not right. However, it warms my heart to see a healthier version of her in 2011. On that healthy note, let's take a look at Renée Zellweger's diet and exercise.

The Renée Zellweger Diet:

Renée Zellweger is no longer trying any extreme diets but has decided to stick to healthy eating these days. And for the upcoming Bridget Jones 3, she is just going to be donning the 'fat-suit'. News has it that she follows the Zone diet. As per this diet, one has to eat 40% carbs, 30% fat, and 30% proteins per meal. Renée consumes a maximum of 500 calories per meal. Her diet is rich in fresh vegetables, leafy green vegetables, fruits, nuts, and a lot of lean protein. She stays away from processed foods and the foodstuffs that have excessive salt. She also drinks more than 2 liters of water every day to keep her system clean.

We have to note that Renée Zellweger has always led a very active life right from her childhood days. She was a cheerleader and a gymnast in school. Proof has it that she also took part in soccer, basketball, football and baseball. Renée has always enjoyed doing cardio more than anything else. She involves herself in outdoor activities like hiking, running, walking, and jogging very often. And I also suspect that she is doing some serious amount of weight training. I mean, have you seen her arms and legs of late? They look muscular like Madonna's.

Final Word on the Renée Zellweger Diet:

If you have been physically active like Renée Zellweger all your life, it would be easier for you to stay in shape in your 40's, because your body is still burning fat. But if you lead a sedentary life and if you are in your 40's, it is now a good time to hit the gym. You might also want to consider eating healthy balanced meals. Good luck!
