Gwen Stefani Diet

Celebrity Diet - Gwen Stefani Did you know that the washboard abs of Gwen Stefani actually has a Facebook fan page? It is well deserved, I'm sure. This platinum blonde singer however, has admitted in many of her interviews that she has struggled to maintain her Size 4 figure. What motivates this mother of 2 to keep herself in shape? Paparazzi!! The 5'7” tall 'Rich Girl' singer said, "If you had paparazzi outside your house, you'd make sure you looked good, too." On that slightly vain note, let's take a look at the Gwen Stefani Diet.

The Gwen Stefani Diet

Gwen Stefani said, "I've always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It's an ongoing battle and it's a nightmare.” Her statement is something that a lot of women out there would be able to relate to. She has plenty of organic vegetables like beets, carrots, celery, and spinach as a part of her every meal during the day. She munches on almonds and cashews if she were to feel hungry during the day. Gwen Stefani also has a lot of organic fruits like plums, melons and bananas. However, she does have food cravings. “I let myself cheat once or twice a day with a cookie or pizza.” she said. And another interesting thing about her is that she keeps drinking vitamin water throughout the day. That is one sure way to keep the body hydrated and at the same time giving it the much needed vitamins.

When asked how she got that killer abs, she credits it to two trainers; Mike Heatlie and Gunnar Peterson for training her. Gwen Stefani hits the gym 5 times a week doing cardio, strength training, and lots of core workouts. However it is important to note that to get abs like Gwen Stefani, one has to work with cable machine for the obliques, and with a medicinal ball for rotational exercises. Well, that is what her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson said.

Final Word on the Gwen Stefani Diet:

The moral of the Gwen Stefani diet story is that hard work in the gym pays rich dividends in the body. "If you just do it, it comes off,” she says about losing the stubborn pounds. I will have to agree with her. Only hard work at the gym and a healthy diet will help anyone to be in shape. Good luck!
