There is something about Vanessa Hudgens diet that we could all relate to. She is someone who loves junk food like a lot of us out there. She gained so much of weight that even getting into her costumes became a challenge. So, she stopped. Since that day, this High School Musical star knows that the best way to stay in shape is to change her diet and start exercising. She has shed all the excess weight and now looks great in any dress she wears. Let's check out her diet and workout regimen.

                 

The Vanessa Hudgens Diet:

Vanessa Hudgens was best friends with 'junk food' until recently. She said in an interview that her food habits have been so unhealthy that she used to have a tub of ice cream every day. Vanessa also admitted that she never ate enough vegetables and munched away too many Cheetos. When she saw her body bloating in an ungainly way, she decided to stop the junk food and start eating healthily. She said, "When you're putting good stuff into your body, you feel so much better." Two of her main meals a day include a spinach salad with grilled chicken or salmon, almonds, feta cheese, a dash of truffle oil and a dash of Himalayan sea salt.

                                                                                                                                        

These days to stay fit, Vanessa Hudgens hits the gym regularly (3 to 4 times a week) where she does cardio and core exercises. First, she warms up with 15 minutes of cardio like running or cycling. Then she works out her core for about 15 minutes doing various exercises. For 10 minutes, she trains with mild weights and finally she finishes with 5 minutes of stretching. Apart from going to the gym, she attends pilates, yoga and spinning classes as well. Vanessa has admitted that the secret to her flat abs is pilates. Recently, she has enrolled into cardio kickboxing classes with her mother.

Vanessa Hudgens is just 22 and her body will listen to her. When she changed her food patterns and started exercising regularly, immediate results were seen. However, she is not a big fan of dieting. She just eats the right portions and makes healthy food choices. If you are as young as the 'Beastly' actress, and if you’re looking at reducing your love handles; then I suggest that you do it her way. Give up junk food and add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. And yes, go to the gym regularly, work out that body of yours. Pilates would also help.
