Gwyneth Paltrow Diet
If you thought Gwyneth Paltrow was skinny and beautiful, you have to check out the skinny Gwyneth Paltrow diet! Her Iron Man movies' diet was tough love but it kept her in top gear. At the end of it, this 38 year old mother of two is probably in the best shape of her life. But will it work for all of us? Let's analyze her diet.
Gwyneth Paltrow Diet Tips & Techniques!
The secret of the enviable Gwyneth's super toned and lean body in Iron Man is Tracy Anderson's 30 Day Method. Many Hollywood celebrities swear that Anderson is a pint sized powerhouse trainer. Anderson does not compromise her diet regimen for anyone. Paltrow was allowed to have kale juice, super low carb wraps, broth-based soups and small amounts of low glycemic veggies. Paltrow snacked on almond butter for her protein. She was also allowed to have plain almonds, Think Thin bars and raw organic Kombucha juice in between meals.
According to Tracy Anderson, her workout routine will re-sculpt the body and would defy genetics(defy genetics, really now?) The workout regimen includes 40 toning Pilates-style moves, which change every ten days along aerobics. She also believes that other cardio exercises such as running will only build bulk muscles.
Apart from the Tracy Anderson's 30 Day Method, Gwyneth also swears by the 3-week Clean Detox diet which helped her shed a few pounds that she had gained. This diet was created by Dr. Alejandro Junger, who has also written a book by the same name.
Final Word on the Gwyneth Paltrow's Diet!
I will not recommend this diet. The number one reason being that it does not have enough nutrients and it is very, very low on carbohydrate and protein. Rebecca Wilcox, an English television presenter, had tried this diet too. She did get results but admitted to the fact that she blacked out a couple of times and the diet left her woozy. The diet permits less than 700 calories a day. A diet that has less than 1200 calories would have never been FDA approved. One can however follow her workout regimen.
Even if you are looking forward to lose weight, you still have to eat healthy. You must not deprive your body of its sustenance energy. Be wise, eat smart and exercise right. Amen!
