How To Make Brown Sugar Scrub At Home


It is recommended that you make your own brown sugar  scrub after thoroughly analyzing your skin type. If you do not know your skin type yourself, then you can get it identified by a trained aesthetician or beauty consultant.


 


For Normal Skin:


1. Take a bowl and add some organic brown sugar to it.


2. Add some rice powder.


3. Stir in fresh beaten yogurt and honey.


4. Add a few drops of sandalwood and bergamot essential oils to the mixture.


5. Mix nicely to form a thick and grainy paste. Use immediately otherwise the sugar granules would dissolve.


 


For Oily/Greasy Skin


1. Take a bowl and add some organic brown sugar to it.


2. Add powdered oatmeal.


3. Stir in equal quantities of orange and tomato juice.


4. Also, add a few drops of cypress and rosewood essential oil to the mixture.


5. Mix nicely to form a thick and grainy paste. Use immediately otherwise the sugar granules would dissolve.


 


For Dry/Aging Skin:


1. Take a bowl and add some organic brown sugar to it.


2. Stir in fresh cream and beaten yogurt.


3. Add some honey.


4. Add wheat germ and Roman chamomile essential oils to the mixture.


5. Mix nicely to form a thick and grainy paste. Use immediately otherwise the sugar granules would dissolve.


 


How To Apply Home-made Brown Sugar Scrub


  • Take a small quantity of brown sugar scrub and massage into clean skin in gentle circular movements.

  • Use scrub all over face and body in upward strokes.

  • Keep massaging until sugar granules melt completely.

  • Wash off with first with warm water and then with ice cold water.

  • Pat dry and apply a good natural moisturizer.
